Christian Life – G K Chesterton

“The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and left untried.” – Chapter 5, What’s Wrong With The World, 1910

Jesus Christ said that His way to the Father is THE ONLY WAY. He is the gate, and it is a narrow road indeed. Consider Jesus’ admonition to “be ye therefore perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Consider Paul who said, “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ…”

Brother or Sister do you have the same attitude in your heart? Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness?

If you would come to Christ today to be born again, He will transform you, justify you, sanctify you and rivers of life will flow from your heart. All who drink from the water He provides will never thirst again. Like Paul you too will say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
